Really good. We had planned to go to Modern or Mike’s after dinner but the lines were crazy long. Earlier in the day, our doorman at The Dagny Hotel told us about Bova’s. We walked a couple of blocks to get there and their line was much shorter. From the time we joined the line, to walking out with our purchase was about 15 minutes at around 8pm on a Saturday night. We grabbed a Cannoli and a package of Lemon cake bites of some sort. Both were great. For such a small shop, Bova’s had a lot of variety or both baked sweet goods and savory food items. If you’ve been to Boston before, next time, give Bova’s a try. It’s only about a 5 minutes walk from Hanover St.

Oh my goodness. 🤤🤤🤤 the crème brûlée cannoli was delicious. I ate a cannoli from another place the day before and thought I wouldn’t eat another one bc it wasn’t that great. However, this cannoli has changed my mind. Turns out you just need to have one from the right place. Which is this place. I also orders the Oreo cannoli and Oreo cheesecake. All three things were phenomenal.

The BESTTT CANNOLI!! The sweetness is perfect, it’s not overly sugary. They also stuff the shells so well so you get so much cream, but it’s not overwhelming because the cream is light and fluffy. I tried the classic and I was craving more by the time I was done! I usually don’t go for pistachio, but that flavor was incorporated perfectly- great balance of flavor!

Tried the Boston crème donut and lobster tail, plus the pistachio macaroons. Everything was delicious. It was full in there but service was quick. Bring cash!

Whether you’re hungry late night or want to get something quick Bova is always there. They open 24/7. My most favorite thing to get is the rice balls (low key I didn’t want to tell this but I’m telling anyway!😂). I can never get enough of them, they come with the homemade tomato sauce made it the perfect match!

It’s an experience to say the least! Be ready to order when it’s your turn or they’ll skip right over you. Even if you just take a little too long like my husband did. The line was long but very efficient and moved quickly. The line was almost out the door when we entered and we were in and out within 10 or so minutes. The pecan pie bar is the best I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t even like cannolis but I like theirs!

Very homey, family-style bakery. It was quiet at lunchtime on a weekday, and they accept credit cards. I ordered the crème brûlée cannoli—it was huge and not overly sweet. Would love to come back and try some of their other desserts! 🍰

This Italian bakery celebrating its centennial this year! I randomly visited on Wednesday evening and just walked in; later, a friend said there's always a long queue… Lobster Tail: Their signature item, actually a cream-filled croissant. The bread was crisp but a bit hard, but the cream wasn't surprisingly sweet! A pleasant surprise! Creme Brulee: So delicious it brought tears to my eyes lol! Extremely delicate and silky yet still slightly springy, with an incredibly rich egg and milk flavor, and a gentle vanilla aroma. A bit unexpected was that the caramel was the kind of syrup used in crème caramel. But I don't really like the caramel coating of the original that may stick on teeth, so it's fine! It's a plus! I brought the same items for my roommates, and they both thought they were delicious too 🥰

Dream come true 🥰 window shopped for the best Boston cream donut in Boston, and I think we found it. There were so many options and the nicest workers that I also tried their great cannolis and lobster tails. Worth a trip from anywhere
